what is it about big men with their little dogs? my old man will only walk the little 2 at the same time as the whippets, he wouldn't dream of walking them down the street on their own, yet when he's indoors, they are his little angels! even my brother-in-law (who thinks dogs are big animals used for protection/guarding) can't resist giving a tickle under the chin!

:huggles: :huggles: :huggles: It's a Man Thing! :huggles: :huggles:

I think it looks a lot nicer to see a big man with smaller dogs, would rather see a man with a smaller dog than a man with so called designer tuff looking dog.

Ali, you are just jealous of Zoe because OH speaks to her first before you when he gets home

Excellent photo. That deserves a funny caption, but it's so well caught!

My OH is the same build as yours, and he doesn't like walking my whippet (who's a small, delicate type of whippet). Whenever we go out together he insists on holding Stan who is a large miniature schnauzer, untrimmed and hippy looking with a long shaggy beard (bit like my OH really  ) Back at home he's more than happy to let Fred cuddle up next to him on the settee :- "

I hate seeing certain blokes with rottweilers and alsations. Nothing nice about that...gives me the shivers

I think it's the same with men getting a male dog done, they will get a female spayed in a minute, but are very hesitant to tamper with a dogs manhood :- "

fab pic :huggles:

Well i'm very lucky my fella is proud as punch to walk Gucci he wants to take her everywhere :) , (either that or he's planning to sell her ha ha!!!!)

He really is besotted with her and also talks in that daft silly voice to her :clown: when his tough mates are round for a beer (it is impossible to speak to her in a normal voice even when she's been naughty o:) )

I know what you are all thinking and no he doesn't bat for the other team :p (w00t)

one of my customers is a ex night club bouncer who now runs his own security firm.hes a biiiiiig lad, works out every day and noone i know with a brain cell would mess with him.he takes his dog for walks and noone laughs at him.his pet is a yorkshire terrier.hes secure in his masculinity not to need a pitbull type dog to bolster it.when me and my hubs was at a game fair one dayhe was walking the dobermanns and i was walking the shibas. he took my shiba off me when he saw how many women were coming up to pet and stroke it.he thought all the attention he got with a little dog was so much better than the lack of it you got with a big dog!

There is a guy I have seen about near here who is over 6 ft tall. built like a brick privvy and he owns a Yorkie and is often out walking it!

he also takes longer to say goodnight to her than he does to me!
