Well at nearly 13 weeks we thought we'd see if the pups enjoyed the hydro pool as much as there daddy and boy did they:

They look so cute in their life jackets - how long do they stay in for?

Diego started off hating it when he had to go after breaking his leg but by the end he quite liked it I think. Thephysio said he was the best sighthound they had ever seen  Logan would come and watch from the safety of underneath a chair :p

A maximum of two minutes actually in the water, billy floated for a minute! Like anything it puts them under a little strain so they will have once weekly sessions of 2 minutes until they are old enough to do proper swims. Mo and Zig do on average 10 minutes swimming with rest breaks of 10-20minutes in between, 3-4 times a week, obviously they are pros so don't require lifejackets just harnesses, we do have the advantages of having the hydro pool with a jet system onsite (for our own dogs as we have a caravan site to look after!) and are trained hydrotherapists!

We are sooooo pleased with these pups, well indeed all our dogs.

Wow that is a lot of swimming that Ziggy and Mo do - they must be looking in wonderful condition for it. I would love to be able to take Diego weekly but it is very expensive, you are lucky to have your own pool!!!

Looking forward to seeing the babies out and about in a couple of months time

Thanks! Yes we call mo particularly muscle mo! but as long as they continue to enjoy it we keep swimming, they are in great condition - but obviously that's my very biased opinion - the pool helps as running a caravan site means you are at times unable to leave for a number of days so walking/working dogs isn't always an option hence the investment of a hydro pool - what better way of exercise !

We too are wishing away our pups lives wanting to see how they will do in the ring - dotti has started off as I think she means to go on by winning at our local ringcraft class on wednesday night of 9 other dogs all older than she is! Billy well billy we call chill bill! , he couldn't be bothered to get off the sofa to go to ringcraft, as he is sooooooo laid back just like his daddy :D Lets hope he follows in his daddies footsteps :) :)

All the best

They look so sweet in their little doggie life jackets
