I was given a day flying birds of prey as a birthday present last year, the Hawk concervancy Nr Andover contacted me to say I only had 7 days to use it up as they were shutting for winter. So of I went the weather was brill nice and hot for October so the birds could fly in the thermalls easy. All I needed was the whippet by my side, it would have been even better, still hers a few pics of the day.

At one point there was about fourty birds in the air, then a flock of herons came over right in the middle of the display, when they saw the eagle they soon scarpered.

this Harris Hawk was the bird I spent most time with, as they are the easyest Hawks to fly, great fun about half the size ot the eagle but still a great little bird.
