Many thanks to Seamus Irwin and Matt Lee, despite the bad weather and torrential rain , you organised and produced another great show yesterday at Birr Castle. A great day was had by all, full of excitement, comarardrie and fun and will be nice to reflect on all these happy memories during the long cold days of winter. A job well done Matt and Seamus.

A big Congratulations to Robert with Rico on winning the All Ireland Champion of Champions Lurcher (Overall Best in Show ). A lovely and unassuming person and a beautiful winning champion Dog. Well done Robert. We are very proud of you. Also congratulations to all the other winners.

And to conclude, Our beautiful Whippet " Silver " done it again for us. She won the " All Ireland Whippet Championship " at Birr Castle yesterday. What a day of excitement in our camp. A great day was had by all. Looking forward to next year.

Sorry i never got no pix of Silver yesterday Margaret n John.But i promise to do so,next time i have the pleasure of meeting up with you all again.Wasn't prepared to take the chance with the camera,in all that rain.Was away all day gettin the car sorted.As i had to drive home last night with very little light's,as all the fuses in me car blew.Owing to the trailer plug being put back on,upside down,after we had to disengage the trailer to get out that mud bath.So beware folks,of the damage that can be done,through a simple mistake.Lost me central locking,alarms n all,and was shittin them till we got it sorted today.Anyway.A big congratuations,from Kirsty,Kenny,and meself.Seems there's no stoppin you.Makes me feel guilty,that i didn't award Silver a bit higher,when i judged Shanes.But i guess we all have different opinions on the day.Cause thats all it is realy.I think Silver is a wee cracker of a show bitch.But me being me,i tend to go for the racier type whippets.Which again,is just an opinion,with me into the racing side,more than the showing.She has nothing left to prove,as a show bitch,and her owners as very good friends,and can i say,it's a pleasure knowing you two.

Big Well Done to the McStays yet again with Silver doing the business down South ! What a girl she is !!

Also Liz and Eddies flyer Cody who streamed the track in the whippets. Finally Roberts Bull Cross who took Show Champion once again.

Thats the first id been down to that fair and id defo go back. There was a good turnout of Northern Irish folk there its just a pity none of them come up North as theyd be more than welcomed at our events

Was intending to get down on the Saturday but Vixen had a bit of a mishap and ended up with three stitches in her throat, a wound that narrowly missed her jugular and windpipe!! Needless to say the little princess has now taken over a spot on the couch, but was practising her racing up and down the hall last night :wacko: (w00t) :wacko:
