Could anyone recommend a spray that actually works for in-season bitches. Also, do you count the first day of the season when bleeding starts or when they first start to become swollen?

Have never used any sprays sorry. But you count from the day you first see blood.

The sprays are not very good... used a spray with kristen, wouldnt use it again as i thought waste of money also tried the tablets that you can buy but they wasnt very good either im afraid.... not unless it was just her!... sorry if this doesnt help.

Sprays/tablets .................. all ineffective and a waste of money!!!

I have droped after shave & even a puff of purfume on bitch's that are in season. This I have done when I have had to travel or be a a public place with them. Does "defuse" the males for a while & gets less attention than normal.

Yup - a strong smelling perfume helps - as long as you don't have a really enthusiastic stud dog - if so - a bit of Vicks vapour rub on his nose also helps battle the smell - wouldn't rely on either as a form of contraception :b
