Just thought id ask if anyone ever noticed an increase in gameness,after the 1st season.Or is it just an old wives tale,as some will no doubt say.I have a greyhound bitch here,who has just come into the best condition she's ever been in,at 3n1/2 years of age,after just coming out of her 1st season 12 week's ago.I know it's getting near time to put the kettle on,as they say in the greyhound world,so i qualified her back in,just last week.In a time that i did not wan't her getting near,i might add,but i run my dog's clean,and don't believe in putting the break's on for a few run's 1st,as im not a gambler.Anyway, im on my way out of greyhound's,and this lady is set for breeding a good litter of none ped's some day(hopefully).Some say im mad,as she was a good bitch,with bags of early,and could stay 750.Her breeding is total class,as her dam threw open class and track record breakers(28.27 for 525yrds).One even reached 1/4 finals of Irish Derby,but got bulked at 1st bend.Anyway,would be grateful for answers. ...Billy...

oldest Ive had a bitch have her first season was 2 years old others have ranged from 9 months to 18 months allways found they came on better after

I'm lost on the relevance of her breeding / future breeding etc with regards to her just having a season?

Oldest i've had has been 18 months when she had her first season, she's found time since but wouldn't necessarily say it was the season that did it. They're all different but you know that Billy!

Well i have 2 bitches Stella who is now 5 (just) and she had her first season when she was 4 and my youngest Boo who was 2 in april still hasnt come into season...Both out of the same dam so is it hereditory???? (w00t) Wish the bloody thing would hurry up if they get a little better lol Although still dont think she'd find enough to catch her sister hahaha :- " for those who know her!!! i can dream eh??
