Hi looking for info what age should a bitch go in to season i have two greyhound bitches there nearly 22 month and they hav,nt broke yet any info would be great

Greyhounds are well known for being late for their first seasons, couple of years or even 2.5 is not unusual. Some Whippets are also late; most of my Whippet bitches come between 12 & 14 months, but I had one who had her first season just few days before her second birthday, and another one who was 22 months.

my girl is 11 months old now and not showing any signs of it, I'm not concerned, just wondering what kind of age to expect her first season.

they will have the season when there ready our lacey whippet was nearly 3 before she had her first season there all differnt yet indy had her fisrt seaosn the day of her first birthday

My greyhound Button was 2 1/2 before she had her first season. She then went 11 months before having another season. Greyhounds are known for having late seasons.
