A working party went up to the track today and renewed the wire fencing and wooden fencing,(still a bit left to do yet) cut the track and the path at the side and weeded the sandpit and dug it over and took the Gorse bushes out near the track, Just the slabs to put down at the front of the track and reseed this week hopefully. Many thanks to Geoff Parr, Chris Horsnall, Joyce horsnall, Alan and Rose Unwinn, and Janet Meades for there work and efforts in getting this track ready for running. It is anticipated that racing will take place in February 2007.

The landlord of the pub will also be doing meals for anyone who requires them on sundays or any day after racing in the same month. John Meades. :cheers:

Well done and :luck: sadly wont be joining you on Sunday mornings as Manton will be up and running again by then but if you do evening racing (obviously if you dont decide on Tues :- " ) look forward to racing at Blidworth again then

PS if Manton has to close down for the levelling of our track we might see you on Sundays then :blink: (ok either this year, next year or maybe year after )
