 well done to all the winners. I got sunburnt at Murton too lol

As usual-an excellent, well run open with beautiful weather chucked in!

Lunch at the pub, the best we have ever had there and a cheerful welcome from the host-the pub has recently been taken over.

The tea urn was also back organised by the Blidworth team- a lovely gesture when you have driven for 3 hours and the toilets were open early!!

But one of the highlights of the day for me was the large skip in the car park to forage through-The vans full! Beat Don Syson to it-he wasn't best pleased

If Don had been as fast out of the traps as his dogs-he'd have got to the skip first :p

Why did they give seagulls wings?

To beat the Boyd family to the tip-so they say ;)

Oh and the racing was good too :D

Some excellent racing-not from our dogs-but from many others-Fizz in particular!

and Chris/Ants team too.

Well Done!

Good to see Bob-coping well with his illness and still joining in with the banter-even joining in with his dogs water with added electrolites/glucose! :clown:

We wish him all the very best.

:p no wasnt puked on thank god. Then again Dalton Park shopping centre is nearby Murton wud have bin a good excuse to get some new clothes lol.

:p Steve, is that what I saw - dust flying from the skip (not seagulls) and two pairs of legs in the air - must have been you and Don searching for the "gold " - hope you found what you wanted !!!!! Joan

Yes, found lots of goodies! The kids at school tomorrow will be well suited with the new jugs/sieves for the sandpit :p

Having to stand guard by the van all afternoon to stop 'The Don' from pilfering our goods only made it possible for us to take just one photograph at this event- but you'll be pleased Joan as its a photo of your dog coming from the traps-

No Limit Scratch-

Supernatural

Minny Ginny

Naz's Warrior

Moonpie

Saxon Duke :D

:( Is Don still there in the skip ? or did anyone pull him out LOL

 Good photo Steve, first away, just a pity "the Duke" checks before the line when there is a sand pit and throws races away. Like his owner he is too intelligent (no not me by the way).

Well done to all the winners today and what a great days racing and plenty of bantering going on. Hope everyones dogs have come off injury free with the champs. only 2 weeks away. :p Joan

Well done to all the winners, especially Fizz.

Did Short Spot pull out of overall bitch final.[if she didnt Fizz is running extremely well]

:D John all the bitches ran in the final. It was run at 2ft per lb. Fizz pulled out all "the stops" and ran a great race beating Short Spot and Trouble Spot. Really great race. : I would say on todays performance she has to be favourite for the 24/25lb bitches at the fed. champs. Joan

Thanks for that info Joan,[hope you do well at the championships]
