a good day was had by all and some good racing

well done to the organisers of this event.. just what we all needed on a boring sunday lol a good day out with some great racing not a bad turn out 45 dogs weigh in till 11am racing started at 12 noon prompt racing finished at approx 2.30pm 2 races for every dog. a very well run open.

I was going to say you lot must all have been bloody freezing going home.

Mind I think we would have been the same had we stayed to the end but as you know we had to leave to get Blaze's leg seen to.

I'm glad it was such a good day, though I think JohnM's weather forecast contained a touch of wishful thinking. Try cold, wet, windy, and where was the sunshine ?

Thanks to everyone for making the meeting what it was, plenty of banter and some good racing. Sorry fleesh about the weather forecast but that was the forecast five days before the race day.

I must just mention one dog that for me was outstanding considering her age and the amount of racing she as had, PEGGY SUE owned and trained by Steve and Sue. A 13 month old bitch that gave SHORT SPOT 2 foot in the A final and was beat by the same margin after cruising her way to the final in her previous two runs. One for the note book.

Thank you Blidworth team for another excellent meeting-John, Ron, Dennis, Jill and Mrs Oz (sorry-forgot first name) and Mrs Dennis (Kath-I wanna be Muriel) the raffle sales lady!

Cold but refreshing-some good racing-great track as usual and the format-feet rather than yards- a nice change. Lunch was excellent too.

I was disappointed though John that you didn't keep to your half of the bargain- :b

looks like a very well raced meetin as we come expect from the i.r.g well done to all the winners specialy chris horsnall with hie little flyin machines :thumbsup:

also well done to peggy sue i saw this bitch at hordon very very impressive
