We have a litter of terriers aged 9 days old and have lost two puppies to what looks like Canine Herpes. Our vet is carrying out an examination of the last pup that died but he is 98% sure its canine herpes. We are looking for a blood donor to inject the remaining puppies with plasma to help them fight this killer condtion. This proceedure has been carried out successfully in the UK and is used on foals with great success.

The donor must be a bitch recently vaccinated against Herpes CHV and preferably just whelped a litter as the anibodies will be at their highest. We are in Belfast N.Ireland and would appreciate any help in saving this litter. We will pay all costs to have blood taken and transport costs also of owner if they are in Northern Ireland. Please help! I think blood can also be sent through special delivery Royal mail and again we would pay all costs.

It'll be worth posting on the dog showing forums so you cover a wider range of owners. Try champ dogs forum as well. I'm not 100% sure but if I remember right you can try to kill the virus by using an incubator. I'm sure I've seen some available for hire, specifically for this kind of situation. Will try and find you a link.
