Greetings to all coursers from Lampingman and Saucey Madam. I must tell you that Saucey is currently injured which will in fact give some lesser dogs the chance of some temporary glory. But make the most of it , she will be back soon.

On an equally serious note, some advice please. I do have an almost equally sensational bitch(no not my wife) who has sustained a cut to her ear flap. It bled profusely and eventually scabbed over. However as she shakes her head and also gets nibbled by the other dogs it reopens the wound. It is due to this reopening that she had to be withdrawn from a stake yesterday. S ome friends have suggested maybe using clear nail varnish and other means to cover the slit but before I do this I would ask for your views. Many thanks as ever.

Lampingman.

I think nail varnish its a bit barbaric ..maybe plastic skin i know germoline makes a good one ...only thing when sealing a wound you have to be very careful that theres no infection or else you'll seal it in and then it could get nasty..

duct tape works pretty good with a bit of cotton wool in the middle but its a bstd to get off apparently.hope that helps

ps : i have the best rabbiting bitch in my area fancy ur chanes ? name your quarry
