i have a friend looking for a blue or blue parti bitch puppy , she is wanting to do a little bit of showing and junior handling for her son so must be kc reg but dosent have to be top show quality as she will only be tottering around local / ag shows etc for a bit of fun . she wants a bitch as she has a bitch lurcher already . any info will be passed on , thank you .

I think the Blue colour must be this years must have as I have been inundated with requests for Blue whippets.

I don't know of anyone this side of the border with blues - sorry.

If you dont want a show-bred one, a lot of working type, 'Sooty Sam' line whippets are 'colour bred' ie black or it's dilution blue. There have been a number of litters with this breeding - I believe Mally on the coursing thread may have a couple of blue pups left.

funny, today on whippet showing there is a black whippet thread, a blue whippet thread and a white whippet thread

if you are still looking, see my message on the black whippet thread about a litter which has blue pups which may have show potential
