I was asked a few weeks back by pedi (kc reg) owner's if Blue Bell or Bluebell, have been used for a racing name in the pedi racing.

I said yes :b , but could be wrong :- "

Has there been a Bluebell/ Blue Bell before ?

Hi

BLUEBELL was owned by Dennis Mayger and ran at Stanborough at Welwyn Garden City's Gosling Stadium - born in the late 60s I would say.

Thanks Rob

Can the name be used again ?

This information is for a pedi racer as I run non peds :- "

Susan

As far as I know the old 'Bluebell' owned by Dennis was not at RCh so I think the rules are you can use the name again. If there is a problem I suggest you add your sirname initial to the end ie Bluebell X.

Good Luick!

I agree Rob the way I understand it as long as the dog wasnt a racing champion or 1/2 coat and 10 years has elapsed since the name being used.

True...........We have used Magical Mistery (mystery) who is probably about 15 and it was no problem to register

 Thanks for your replys and pm's with phone numbers

The owner of the dog has phoned someone from the pedi racing and his dog will be called Blue Bell .

The owner is happy with her name and good luck to his future racing dog :luck:

I think the rule is 16 years between names and not at all if it was a champion. Half coats are OK though.

There was a Blue Belle Beau that used to race in the mid 90's but I expect that will be considered different to Blue Bell.
