Well finally done it took blue (lokeren chakole odyssey) to his first show today, he was a wholey terror as usual loads of barking, so sorry to everyone who was at the ingliston show today and heard us going around.felt he done well on the table but when on the floor was more interested in barking and all teh other dogs so much more ringcraft practice needed.

Would also like to say a big thank you to buffyrannoch who was a great help just seeing a friendly face at our first show was a godsend, also therpan? sorry know i have ur name wrong head was all over hte place and of course liz the third. congrats to all winners at the ingliston open show today.

Well at least you've got your first show out of the way  It will get easier :D :luck: :luck: :luck: for your next one :huggles:

Keep at it Michelle, hes a lovely boy, just a bit lively :- " , and great to meet you :luck:

isnt that an understatement :- " , but not to worry im not giving up esp since i havent seen him since we got home he has bn on his bed and not moved all day peace

It Was great to meet you and Blue I'm sure he will settle with time and work (w00t)

:- " :p :p :p Oh boy, is he going to take time, bless him. Tee Hee  Wish I'd been there! Note that hubby was conspicuous by his absence, but Blue was ably accompanied by Tess (who I bet was slightly bemused by all of this, but she is devoted to Blue and he likewise) also young Paul (who is dog mad and I can see a time when JH might enter the equation also) Ian hates dog shows, just as much as I (no, we now) love it. But loves dogs generally, so we'll forgive hime.

Anyhow, I'm enormously proud of both of them, cos Blue has been a real handful, but such is Chelle's patience, he has come on leaps and bounds (oh he does that too)!

Cos I'm Mum to the both of them (in law to one but mum no. 1 to tother) - you get my drift.

Blue originally had a home with business people, but he came back. Such was his lack of training/socialisation - they didn't give him his second jab until the week before he came back at 9 months - he needed someone who would give him the time and love he deserved - so I sent him to Chelle, Ian and Tess and between them they're doing a fantastic job. So you see he still thinks he's a baby.

There is one thing, until he calms down a bit, you'll certainly know if he's entered without having to buy a catalogue!

Thanks to everyone for helping Chelle and Blue out, it is much appreciated.

Lol, that made me laugh, poor Blue, he cant help it, hes just enthusiastic !!!! (w00t)

Keep going, Chelle and Blue, he will learn in time, anyway he certainly livens up the whippet show scene! He seemed to enjoy himself even if his handler was a little embarrassed! Keep up the training classes.
