:) evening everyone, im new to this forum and Im looking for advice, I have a 1 year old boxer who I have been successfully raw feeding for quite a few months now.

Problem is, we have just booked a holiday for 2 weeks in October and while I dont see a problem with boarding him, Im now worried they wont take on the raw feeding aspect, does anyone have any experience of this?

I dont have an family that are willing to take on the dog for two weeks let alone raw feed him (it took me a while to get used to it!) :)

I live in the south yorkshire area

thanks

Where ever you book him into I'd ask what their policy is, every place is different, where I used to work all the home dogs were fed raw so it was great when a boarder did too

Check it out cos its important not to stop - a photo would be good!

Welcome :D

Yes - just check with your local kennels. When mine have had to go in kennels, they have been happy for me to come laden up with my raw food and store it in their freezer. It was absolutely no fuss for them at all, but the kennel owner does feed this regime herself so understood why it was important to me. I even took in bags of prepared veg, eggs etc!!

Im sure you will find a local kennel willing to do it for you.

I know several people who normally feed raw but will use a natural food like Nature Diet + bones at times when they are travelling or camping etc, so that might be worth considering.

I used to work in a Boarding Kennels (was made redundant beginning of January) we used to feed whatever the owner wanted us to. Some owners would bring in all sorts of weird and wonderful things for their dogs. It was never a problem.
