hi can anyone help iam putting 2 of my dogs in keenles this year but i have never put any dogs in kennles before can anyone help with advice on what to look for so i get a good boarding kennles?

many thanks oh and zak my rescued german shepherd is getting on really well and settled down brilliantly (w00t)

The best way is probably word of mouth - ask other dog owners, then go and visit and see for yourself.

Think of any questions you might want to ask (safety, exercise, bedding, feeding etc) and write a list so you don't forget anything.

My dog hates kennels. He is very unnerved by all the barking.

You could also do a quick web search or ask your local vet about home kennelling, where someone keeps your dog in their house. There are a few threads on this board recommending those (animal aunts, guardian angels, etc) websites.
