I am locked in to the smallest room with my dog shaking and barking, Benji that it, I have given him some calming tablets over the last 2 days.

Why do they have to have the bang in them?

Roll on 2014...

A retrieve, my wife has taking him down stairs, I used to love fire works the lovely colours but now I just hate it as it upsets my dog so much.

dont say sorry, fireworks are one of the worst legal products on sale, really cant understand how people get fun from them, parents who take kids and laugh with excitement really do my nut in..

Like everyone else I loved fireworks, both displays and letting off my own but as I get nearer 70, I hate them! But what I do accept is,that this change in me is due to my AGE!!!

The country will always "celebrate" Guy Fawlkes night so just live with it like I do.

The real problem is that bonfire night is not restricted to the 5th of Nov but the week before and the week after.Then there is Christmas. Then there is New Year. Then there is uncle Joe's 60th. Then there is your son's 21st and your daughter's positive pregnancy test, FFS ! The list goes on and on.

We are only preaching to the converted on these M B s but an least we can get it off our collective chests and practice our typing and grammatical skills, even without a spell checker Chris

I just cant for the life of me understand why celebrate something thats hurts children amd which is another drain on the nhs. Mine aint age hated them as a kid nut yes i have beem to a display but alway moaning lol
