For ten days there is the huge "Salon International de l' Agriculture" in the Center of Paris. It's a really HUGE show with everything related to Agriculture.

Concerning dogs it's a bit a special show as you don't enter there you get "nominated" for it by the French Whippet Club (for whippets ) and the French Kennel Club. 4 dogs nominated for each breed (one CAC winning at the French National specialty + one champion for both sexes) + a progeny group and a breeder group.

CAC winning dog selected was Sacha du Manoir de la Grenouillère

CAC winning bitch was Top Tendance du Manoir de la Grenouillère

Champion dog was my Mojo, Ch. Taraly Stairway to Heaven

Champion bitch was Ch. Dixmoor The Killing Moon

No Progeny group for whippets this year . I still remember last year the breeding group of the late Ch. Joli Mec du Manoir de la Grenouillère represented by Dessie's TJ, my Mojo, my Mia and another bitch I can't remember her name :b who ended up 3rd. Joli Mec left us about a month ago:'( :'(

Breeding group: La Romance des Damoiseaux.

The whippets did extremly well!!!!

3 judges were judging together.

The CAC dog ended up 2nd sighthound, the CAC bitch ended up 1st :cheers: .

Being judged with Mojo just after her I thought I stood no chance as the first is qualified for the finals next sunday, I thought the judges qualified a whippet and that was it for this year.

BUT Mojo ended up Best Sighthound Champion of the year 2005!!!! :teehee: :teehee: :teehee: !!!!!!

The champion bitch ended up 2nd best champion.

And finally the breeding group got a 3rd.

SO 2 whippets are qualified for the finals and we are invited by the French kennel Club to come back on Sunday !!!! The President of the French Whippet Club was head over heels :lol: !!!
