Hi everyone,

anyone else now getting bored with being at home every week-end.

We don't race Blue ( Blue Reflections ) on the bends, so he hasn't had a run since the BWRA Championships in August.

Our nearest Southern club is S.E.W.R.C at Thurrock, this is a 200mile round trip for us ( through the Dartford Tunnel ) not a fun place to be when the traffic is heavy.

We do go to watch the Thurrock dogs if they are away racing on the bends

to cheer them on.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish Fordingbridge WRC good luck for 2008.

This is a lovely venue in the New Forest area, and it's always very relaxing when you go there.

Blue will be 5yrs old in September 2008, so we have been thinking about getting him a mate to start training before we retire him, but when you look at the geography of where a lot of the opens are , it makes you think twice, not only because of the expense but also the time it takes to get to opens from where we live close to Portsmouth. You can't get any further South than where we live, across the water is France. The same goes for Jane & Bert Madgwick, and Tony & Sue

Fordingbridge is our nearest WRC, and even that is about a 100mile round trip

People often say that whippet racers are crazy ( it makes you stop and think )

Anyway no doubt we will still travel in 2008, so good luck to everyone in 2008

Best wishes

Doreen :luck:
