Breaking Vixen To The Ferrets

As you may know I bred a litter of whippet pups from my old faithful bitch Jess who in her day did everything i asked of her she regular took fox before the ban. Being a whippet of 21" and 31lb thats not easy.

The reason i bred the litter was to keep a pup back for myself she's a pedigree whippet that i'll use for ferreting, mooching and lamping. I may even show her if she's good enough.

Vixen is now 16 weeks old i've waited a while to introduce her to ferrets as she's a little hyper at times. She's been taking a little more interest in the ferret cage this week and i decided to introduce her to one of my steady Jills.

Here they are lapping some lambs milk i made up for them. Vixen was 100% with the ferret and i'm really pleased
