billy dont think he was racing non peds at that time hes alot younger than me and alot wiser.

but am sure hazel will find out for me.

pretty sure it was around the time when black fox / good as gold/ and mr j parrs suemandingo were racing

:- " I remember Sir Huncas out of Lady Huncas i think but can't remember sire will ask mum she will remember - Lady Huncas had several litters tho so not sure which one he was out of? As for the other name i dont recall that one Stewarts other good bitch was Waffy also known as Loopin she was a brindle bitch about 28/30lb i think. Not sure of the big black one tho and of course much of this is what my mum and dad told me cos i was only very young then :- "

Thanks Jac - i did think it was Stampede but was a bit unsure so dint want to put in case was wrong - and i have to confess i did know Sir Uncas and Stampede  cos both raced at our track - in fact remember mum and dad helping train Rch Stampede so maybe i was a bit older than i first thought when Sir Uncas was running :)

Brenda and Dave also had Tidemark ;) who was a nice bitch

can you also remember a man called brian marsh from woodsets i think

I can remeber Brian Marsh too  He raced when mum and dad ran Shireoaks whippet racing club, then at Rose Forgrove, Manton and Carlton etc.

Brian had a few dogs Tracey Blue for one (but in the earlier days lol) a little black bitch called Sniffer around 20lb decent lil thing and he then had a fawn bitch called Super Mover fawn 21lber again she was a good little bitch. But reading topic title I think Brian's last dog might be the one your more interested in and that was called Rubber Duck out of Lady Uncas and Yorky Boy i believe she was the only one in the litter and i also think may have been Lady Uncas' last litter.

Now Graham how will anybody believe in only 21 now after those blasts from the past :teehee: :- "

Just another couple for you Graham Ayeshea and Rch Misprint

Lady Uncas x Jeans Lad (first Lady Uncas litter)

Now these i saw as pups with Lady Uncas as she was with dads friend at the time of whelping Mr Berry :)) i was about 8 yrs old then ;)

Mum said she won a few pounds on Lady Uncas on the ball hare races and says she was phenomenal on the ball hare was a dead cert and cant remember anything like her fantastic bitch ;)

LADY HUNCAS ALSO HAD A LITTER TO A GREYHOUND MELS PUPIL

WHICH PRODUCED LITTLE HUNCAS WHICH WAS MATED TO GUNNERS GOLD

AND THIS PRODUCED GUNNERS GIRL WHO USED TO RACE AT DONCASTER

AND DID GOOD TIMES AT KINGSLEY BEFORE INJURY FORCED HER TO RETIRE
