How about a third whippet walk??

Meeting at Ashton Court by the big house one Saturday soon about 1pm......

Let me know if you are interested

(I can show off bean)

Yup, just so long as it's not this coming Saturday

not sure when, how about the saturday after the 8th Feb, cause Bean will be able to walk then (w00t) (all her jabs done)

That sounds good to me, too

How do I get to the "big house"? I've only been in to Ashton Court by going across the Suspension Bridge and through that gatehouse up near Leigh Woods. How should I aim to get in another way... and is there a carpark there near the house?

Do you know Bower Aston, where the police dog and horse section is, there is a college thing as well, you go in that way. The main Aston Court Manor is there and a large carpark....

11th of Feb sounds good i will email the others....did you get a list of email addresses the last time helen? could you email them?

Can't you drive down to the house from that way anymore? Drive past the deer enclosure.

It's been years since I've been there. Maybe there aren't any deer anymore and maybe you never could drive right through the park. Kim?

No, you can't get down to the house from the top part of the park by car any more - there is a barrier across the road. You have to access it via the Cumberland Basin, past the Bower Ashton art college (part of UWE, so signposted thus). There is loads of car parking and a nice little cafe where the old horse stables were, so we don't have to miss out on the hot chocolate afterwards!
