I know that it will probably be only me and Paula writing on this thread but I have to say this....

WOW WOW WOW WOW BOMBER HARRIS YOU ARE A STAR!

First Brit to win the Britsh grand prix in many a year and I was SO proud - he was just awesome. Well done to Chris and what an amazing day - I am still hoarse from shouting and have ringing in my ears from the air horns - but I would do it again tommorow.

Probably a silly question, but did anyone else see it???

Darcia it was absolutly AMAZING i was so proud of Chris Harris  when he took the lead from Greg Hancock on the final bend i was jumping and shouting at the tv, The noise from the stadium was deafening that must of been you, thought it was really nice how Greg & Jason Crump congratulated him too really good sportsmanship. Roll on the 28th July for the next one.

Well I'm pleased you two had a great result :D ......btw what is speedway ?? :teehee:

To answer your question no.

This might seem to be a stupid question but..................

Is Greg Hancock British?

Also who does Chris Harris ride for?

See you were wrong Darc. Both Hannah and myself wrote summat on this topic. :p (and it's about time we saw you racing again :huggles: ).

i'm not a lover of speedway (rather watch paint dry) but I must admite I enjoyed The British GP, probably the fact that for once Britain has a sport to shout about.

Harris shows a determination that british riders have been lacking at the top level.

 Greg Hancock is american BJ and Chris Harris rides for Coventry Bees, think he should transfer to Belle Vue though he did us proud when he rode for us the other week. Hope its not cancelled tonight Darcia, anyone who wants to know more about speedway watch sky sport tonight.

Still cant believe that he won (and I think you will find that he is coming to Swindon next year Paula LoL :D ). Was such an amazing atmosphere, the best GP that I have ever been to (even sitting next to Poole fans didnt disturb me too much!). We arrived late as stuck behind an accident on the M4 for a few hours, but still managed to soak up some of the party atmosphere on the streets (well in the bars  ) before heading to the stadium at 7. Awesome racing all night (although I was abit dissapointed that Mr Clean didnt make it onto the podium - now that really would have made it a fairytale!).

My silly sister is getting married on the 28th so not sure that I will be able to watch - but looking forward to the World Cup - only a couple of weeks away - which should be brilliant. Fed up of rain-offs, havent had a Swindon meeting in weeks :( Dry day yesterday and the heavens opened as we got halfway to track, as soon as they called it off the sun came back out and shined for the rest of the evening - VERY frustrating!

Dont tell people to watch tonight, cant see that Eastie V Hammers is going to be very exciting LoL, we are up at yours next Monday - was looking forward to a win but going by your new signing today that will probably not happen now :(

I was at my mums today and got to see Chris Harris win twice on her local news. Nice little move up the inside wasn't it. The American looked at him and then seemed to loose it and go wide. Must have been fear or summat. (w00t)
