Just wondering if the BSFA courses have been tight or not this year ?? ........ as I'm not sure wether to go to the sporting champs (with just 2) or come lure coursing with 5 being able to compete :D ......... for any insight Hannah :)

Sorry .....Is it a small course with alot of turns that double back on themselves or is it a big sweeping course ......... All of my lot are fine on any course apart from Jacob ........Just a pondering really....... :D

I'd have said somewhere in between, but we've hardly been this year. Why not email Garry P and ask? I don't know how much it varies depending on which bit of ground they are using.

As a guide Larru (?, Digger's owner) estimated the March one as:

"the overall length of the course was 505 metres and that incorporated about a dozen turns. lengths between turns would have varied between 30 metres and 75 i would guess"

Trouble is, Gary makes it up on the day!!! Kathy likes to make it a bit harder with some cunning twists and turns.

the course should be kept private until the day or you will only get owners turning up who favour the designated course, its called simulated coursing a hare picks it's course at random a skilled dog will run short or long

Thanks ........Unfortunatly Jacob whos known to take most things live (befor the ban of course ;) ) ......is terrible for hurtling around flat out, be it a plastic bag or live .......but due to The Twits bad back i'd like to know if it was tight due to the fact he can roll and roll and roll with the best of them  .....prehaps i'll just stick to the vets sporting champs with him then :D
