What a cracking weekend was had at Burghley. Great weather, great company and a setting that was jaw dropping.

Saw the most amazing caravan that arrived as a small box and converted into a rigid caravan big enough to sleep 4.

Even got to partake in my all time favorite pastime, riding a motorbike :) . Even if it did only do 20mph :(

Shame the whole family forgot to take a camera. Luckily there were plenty of folks there with the right equipment.

As ever there were dogs of all shapes and sizes all enjoying themselves as much as the owners even if race day was a bit on the hot side. A few crispy people walking around at the end of the day.

A good time had by all, long may it continue and can't wait for The Wolds.

we were at Burghely and forgot the Camra  we all had a fantstic time jade got to work with arron in the main arena helping with chace the bunny for the 3 days shes become an expert at putting the lure around the pullies :D .

we have been to a few game fairs but have never had the nurve to take part everyone looked like they knew what they were doing and a new comer can feel a bit stupied to ask what to do.

but thanks to John (stormy) he talked us into going to Monmouth camping and we loved it we came away with a big 0 but we had the bug so we went to Burghley and we have had another brilleant weekend.Dont know how we did it but we got 3 rosettes.

what a great weekend once again.

the weather was gorgeous, plenty of beer and B-B-Q ,S. tigger won the over 23 straight racing, lara came second in the puppy final and our little charley. ( 8year old daughter ) came 1st in the child handling, so she has qualified for the finals in cheshire. the highlight of the weekend was getting pepa to chase the lure. considering she wouldnt chase anything at all on the sunday morning. she is now lure crazy. so gary and sue you have me to blame for that one. (w00t)

lovely to meet up with vicky and her friends. your whippet was ace in the coursing.

a big thanks to the lurcher world team for another great weekend  8)

carn't wait till scarborough. 2 whole months away
