Asfordby Sports Club have informed me that if you wish to camp on the field from 8pm on the Thursday then there will be a charge of £5 plus the £15 for the Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, THEY WOULD ALSO REQUIRE ALL CAMPERS TO BE OFF THE FIELD BY 11.00AM AT THE LATEST ON TUESDAY MORNING

David, i am sure that they would have no objection to you dropping your van off in the car park and then going into Melton Mowbray to sample their pork pies and Stilton cheese with a pint, a nice and interesting market town. You can but ask at the bar.
