To all BWRA members, just to remind you that the club teams will be on Sunay 7th August at ASFORDY. Up to now I have only been notified by TWO club secretarys that they will be entering a team, so if you want to run for your club please contact your club secretary so that she can notify me as soon as possible.

Could you please remind us what consists of a team these days, and cost the of entry per team.

Can a club enter more than one team and is there any 28 day rule applicable to those on the team.

i,m almost sure that the teams consist of

1 scratch

1 light weight vet up to 24lb

1 heavyweight vet up to 32lb

4 lightweight dogs up to 24lb

4 heavyweight dogs up to 32lb

11 dogs per team

Hi Malcom, yes a club can enter more than one team. the format is

4 adults + 1 veteran up to 24lb 150yd/lb

4 adults + 1 veteran up to 32lb 175yd/lb

1 scratch dog 175yd/lb

Max 11 dogs

Entry Fee £5 per team + £3.50 per dog = £43.50 per team

almost forgot the 28 day rule only applys for the straight & bend championships

also the run as weighed rule will be waved for this one event to enable clubs to field a full team
