Hi everyone, just to inform you that Steve Williams has resigned as President of the BWRA National Committee.

If anyone is interested in taking on this post, please ask for a proposer and a seconder and send it in writing to me before the BWRA AGM that is on Sunday November 27th

any one know why steve williams has finished then?

I have just been informed by Malcom Clarke that he is willing to be nominated for the post of BWRA President, I for one am delighted, Malcom brings with him a wealth of knowledge about our sport so it can only be a good thing that he is willing to become part of the BWRA in a committee position.

regards Doreen

thats good news, good luck Malcolm. :luck:I'm sure he will be a great asset.

great news for our sport, its not often that someone who has been in a position that he has seen all the down sides, comes back to help out again, good luck

Malcolm, i am sure you will help bring the sport back in the right direction.

how about you peter, could you not fancy a position at the top table.you and malcolm would bring whippet racing back to what it should be .And be great ambassadors for the sport.Few other poeple i would like to see on the top table who have been in the sport for years and well respected.one in north west either him or his misses :- " 2 in the north one whos on here quiet a lot j--- - .also colin a all people who speak there mind and level headed. getting them on might be a different thing  the bwra should always be respected as it is whippet racing governing body :luck:

good choices Dave :D but i didn't know there is only one governing body (w00t) get up for it yourself i reckon you would do ok :)

this topic is for bwra, same goes for nnwrf, they should be hand in hand with each other to bring the sport more uniform
