on Sunday 18th February "North West Bend Bonanza"

 

at Westhoughton Greyhound Stadium, Wigan Road A58, Westhoughton, Lancs (M61 - Jct 5).

 

435yd No Limit Scratch

for added prize money donated by Westhoughton Greyhound Stadium

Racing for the Sabre Trophy (donated by Pete Stienlet) entry £10 per dog.

 

Adults

D & B Seperate in 3 classes 20lb, 26lb & 32lb (1st & 2nd in heats & dog & bitch final to make 4 x dog final) at 275yds

Racing for the A Kinda Magic Trophy (donated by Steve & Wendy Potts)

 

Yearlings

12 to 18months old. All in 20lb, 26lb & 32lb. 1st & 2nd in heats, class winners through to 3 dogs final at 275yds

 

Veterans

All in 4 classes 20lb, 24lb, 28lb & 32lb. 1st & 2nd in heats, class winners through to 4 dog final.

Racing for the Joe Warren Memorial Trophy (donated by Tony Warren)

 

Scratch

up to 36lb, 40lb & No Limit. 1st & 2nd through to finals. Yearling and Vets according to entries 275yds.

Racing for Hobgoblin / Smurfette & Slitherman Trophies.

 

Whippet News Fastest Time Trophy

(donated by Chris Cornish) for fastest time of the day.

 

BWRA Cards to be shown - Weigh in until 12 noon.

 

Pedigrees

all in 3 classes up to 22lb, 29lb and 36lb

1st and 2nd through in heats, class winners to make 3 dogs final.

No height restrictions or passports.

 

Entry fee £5 per dog which also includes entry into the consolation.

 

Consolation - 20lb, 24lb, 28lb & 32lb all in. also scratch & peds

 

Lurcher Racing in 2 classes upto 23" and over 23" - 275yd.

Terrier Racing according to entries - approx 70yd.

Still not 100% whether we are coming yet as Moany has not yet healed :( . Will be there if we can with all three (Talli just finishing her season 15 days today she's howling like a good 'un :eek: )

if there are enough entries they can have a vet class or we'll go along with what is the norm in the peddi world
