hope all you lurchers have a good break over xmas and are fit and ready for our bend open again Sunday 17th Feb 2008 at WESTHOUGHTON GREYHOUND STADIUM

the classes will be upto 23" and over 23" unless you would like something different let us know

the 425yd distance will be open to lurchers this time, this section of the racing is £10 per dog entry and is 100% payout plus £50 added prize money

have a good xmas and new year any enquiries tel; Linda 07764219147 or P.M.

FULL AD WILL BE POSTED IN THE NEW YEAR

a question from john for you. can you use the greyhound traps for the over 23" maybe ? colts wayyyy to tall for those traps..poor lad cant see under the plate at the top of the gate. you used the bigger ones last year and colt shot out a 15.35 time...this year he fell out of the traps it seemed, cos the daft bugger doesnt know to peep under the plate lol hence 15.50 :blink: those smaller traps are fine for unders but not overs...something for you to mull over :thumbsup:

we use the same traps all the time ,we used the same ones last year :cheers:
 
we did use a different set of traps last year we had the new ones didn't realise they were a different size though, will sort it if we can :thumbsup:

in the first runs last year we used the block trap but in the second we used the normal ones because it took 6 of us to move the block traps on and off and it took ages and we all said never again :cheers:

:oops: sorry I was meaning the handicap traps
