I hope they're there Sunday then, I read the rules on the BWRA website and in the BWRA membership booklet but have since been informed that this is no longer correct.

BWRA rules say:

(Management Rules No.18)

All registrations and new memberships must have been received by the National Registrar at least 28 days before all Championship events (Bend, Straight and Puppy/Yearling) for a dog to be eligible to run. Existing memberships must have been renewed before the event.

Hi Darren, Doreen here

just ask Alison for a replacement card, give her all the info of the dogs that you have registered already. Unfortunately you will have run out of time if you wanted to run a dog on the bends as you have to renew memberships and any new dog registrations 28 days before any championships ( bends,straights, pups, yearlings )

Feb Whippet News page 6, At the BWRA AGM Dec 4th clarification of the 28 day rule was explained by Alison. The 28 day rule applies to all memberships and registrations for any BWRA Championships ( Bends,Straights,Pups,Yearlings )
