:- " Hi all Cruftie,

Which cages can we take, wired or material??

 Jenny

Either, I am taking my soft crate.

Material cages are not allowed officially, but its not always adhered to!

I have been told this before but it doesn't say anything in the "rules". Just that only one dog allowed in each cage and cage must be a suitable size. I thought they had done away with this rule which i understood was originally made so that the public could see the dogs in their cages. Same thing with not being able to cover the cages. I'm going cloth anyway. Too much to carry otherwise.

To be honest I haven't checked this year but did a couple of years ago - but maybe its changed and I'm sure it was about the public not being able to see them!

We are taking metal cages but only because I wouldn't trust Dads two in a material cages

don't they have cages on the benches already? or is that just for the toys? its been many years since my one-time-only visit to crufts with a whippey :b
