we bought some cages for the dogs today as tank has taken to trying to dig holes in the room floor when we go to work!,we bought a giant one for lucy and tank to share as he howls when left alone  ,and clyde and bonnie have an xl one each,we got them from batleys cash & carry the giant one was £32.99 and the xl was £25.99 they are plastic coated metal with 2 doors and are easy to fold up and down, and the dogs seem to love them,we also bought some small water bowls that clip inside the cage for only £1.35 each.

the giant cage is huge plenty of room for a dog the size of clyde and he is huge and a super price,we also got some red mills racer for only £8.99 for a 15kg bag.

sounds like you got some bargains! I wouldn't be without crates specially for a puppy. I have the dogs out "on the loose" whenever I am around to supervise (which is most of the time) but have learnt the hard way about not leaving a puppy unattended :D :D I think crates are a fantastic idea when used properly and my dogs love them. If I only have one crate up, all my dogs try to snuggle in together

Those are definitely good bargains. I've never used a crate for any of my other pets before, but got one for Tascha through this boards recommendations, I totally wouldn't be without it now, they're brilliant.

your right about them all trying to share 1 crate, all 3 were open but bonnie, clyde and tank all went into the same one!.

but they love going into them, although like you wilfred we only have them in there when we go to work, and we have vet bed on our bedroom floor so they can lie down with us-thats when we can keep them off our bed of course!,they all stay down now except tank!,he stays down during the day but as soon as the light goes off hes up on the bed-hestarts at the bottom and works his way up during the night before crawling under the duvet and then when he gets too hot he crawls out again then in then out then in and so on all night long  ,you get grumpy when he wakes you up but one look at that sorry wee face and you just give in and go back to sleep -_- --well for another 20 mins until he gets too hot/cold  ,still we would be lost without him  .
