Looking forward to meeting you on sunday, and I think there is some kind of virus going around at the moment :-

We really enjoyed our day out at Caledonian Thistle today, what a lovely club they are - everyone is so friendly and helpful. Tchi the borzoi hasn't been racing for around 4 years and at 9 now is really a bit too old....but he didn't think so. He had two runs and absolutely loved it :) Milly, the young silken windhound was a bit overawed but not as bad as I expected her to be. She chased after Tchi the first run then 3/4s of the way up the track she kicked into a higher gear and ran past him, I was thrilled. Unfortunately for her next run there were a lot more people and dogs along the side of the track and she didn't want to pass them. Everyone was very helpful and understanding and suggested she run again from further up the track, she had two half runs and the last one particularly she actually chased the lure so I was pleased.

For anyone reading this and considering trying their dog out I firmly recommend it, great fun for 2 and 4 legged alike :)

I can't wait for the open day now, show classes for the hounds and fun running too :)

That'll be Milly, my little Princess.... we call her a Silken Windhound, but wheat saluki type dog fits too

Next time we're going to make her watch your brindle boy running and hope some of the flying machines technique rubs off on her, what a cracking dog he is :))
