Watch out for Moany Moany on the local/regional news in the Yorkshire Calendar region.
It's a long story how we got there ...
I e-mailed the local paper (Doncaster Free Press) to see if they would like to cover the BWRA Champs at Stainforth in the sport section of the paper ... I was called back and was asked if there were any local dogs running to which I replied yes my own who is called Moany Moany - I happened to mention she has one eye and that is what they picked up on, within the day Blaze and I were having our picture taken and I was doing an interview for the paper.
The story went in the paper on the 18th of Feb and that very same morning The Star (the Sheffield Local not the other one ... :- " ) called and asked if they could do a follow up story. So along they came for a photo, that same day. A week later Blaze appeared in The Star (we didn't even know as we don't buy the paper). That was the 25th Feb and that very same evening Mum recieved a phonecall from the Calendar News office in Sheffield asking if they could run a story on Blaze and interview me ... so I recieved a call at college to get home NOW as they were on their way. As I was walking to the house from the Bus Stop they pulled up and 2 and a half hours later they were away again.
All I was trying to do was advertise the Championships in the local paper ... :b
