Hope everyone is well. Have not posted for ages but am looking for some advice and thought this the ideal place to ask. We are looking for a whippet pup preferably a black male and will be in a position to take on a new member of the family towards the end of July. My question is how do I find out who is likely to have pups for sale at that time ? We are keen to get a pedigree whippet although it will be purely as a pet.

It may be worth contacting the secretary of the Whippet Club for Scotland. Have a browse of the above link, their contact details should be there. They usually have their ear to the ground regarding litters of pups. Failing that you could try contacting some of the Scottish whippet racing clubs; they may know of impending litters.
