My Whippet Cloud is 8 years old. He doesn't like other dogs as he was bitten when he was a puppy and suffers with nervous aggression, however he is fine with dogs he knows.

My friend was walking him on Friday with her dog, whom Cloud likes, his Whippet friend and 2 Spaniels. The Spaniels never stop yapping the whole time and my friend thought Cloud was looking a bit agitated in the car with them. When they got to the woods she let all the dogs out of the car and off their leads. One of the Spaniels ran to Cloud and had a little go at him. Cloud immediately ran to the Spaniel, picked it up by it's coat and ran off with it.It is a kcc and it's hindquarters were dragging along the ground too heavy for cloud to pick up. My friend was shouting and running after them but lost sight. A few minutes later Cloud appeared back at her side minus the Spaniel!

Obviously Corina was manic as the Spaniels aren't hers, she just walks them. She found the Spaniel in a field nearby with no damage done to it but it was obviously shaken.

Why would Cloud do that?If he wanted to hurt it he could easily have done so. And when he catches rabbits and squirrels (grey) he kills them outright, he doesn't run off with them!

I knowI shouldn't laugh but the thought of it was really funny

Think he was teaching the little spaniel a lesson , hopefully t worked ;)

Should'nt laugh either :b sorry but..................................    just the vision of it (w00t)

Not much help am i :b and i'm sure at the time it was frightning !

Lets just hope the spaniel learned it's lesson ;)

Can I borrow him? I have a three of the yappiest spaniels living next door... The yapping could drive you to do all sorts of things!

Its probably living with you , its driven him nuts. :p x

Must admit I don't find it funny and next time (and it is just waiting to happen) the consequences might be far worse. If someones spaniel did it to any of my dogs, I would be furious as I'm sure every other dog owner on this forum would be. I wonder how the owner of the spaniels felt - that's if the dog walker came clean.
