Unless I've misunderstood (which is quite possible as I only had a quick scan of the web page), the data reported is absolute numbers of cases - so kibble will be the most commonly reported food in dogs with DCM because most dogs eat kibble. And chicken appears to be the most common culprit because most dog food is chicken based.
