Hi guys,

I am asking for a bit of help............

Lloyd (my OH) took a lovely photo of our Fynn last year, and I have been desparate to have it enlarged for display ever since.

We have just redecorated the dining-room/study and I now have a big plain wall free for the image. I would love a canvas print about 2 ft long 1 1/2 high.

Does any-one kow of any really good deals?

Thanks in advance, and here is the shot I want to frame

pm wiggy on here he is a pro photographer and could possily send you in right direction

It's a beautiful photo.

We have one here that we would like to get done too, so please let us know if you find a good place that you can recommend.

Thanks for the help, I will post when I get it done for the best deal

Giclée prints are what most artists use to make printed reproductions of their artwork on a range of nice art papers, should work well for artistic photos as well. The only problem is they are a bit expensive, and some printers charge a set up cost.

Here are a couple of examples, I'm sure you can probably find more if you have more time to look. It should look great

The second one you quoted is fairly reasonable in cost Elizabeth, thanks. I do think we will go down this route. I am not a big photo fan, but I did love this picture, it's a bit arty, and I have always wanted it reproduced

Photo-canvas.com got a gold award in digital photo magazine's review the other month. They tested numerous sites and these came out best for quality, price and presentation of their canvas's.

i love that picture.  it reminds me of something.its the sort of misty otherworldly type of pic from the cartoon film about the rabbits and when one dies and goes to rabbit heaven i think its like that pic,a sort of tunnel of light leading towards rabbit heaven.and the song bright eyes is playing.cant think of the name of the film now

Watership Down,, and it made me cry

that's a gorgeous photo.

I've had some b+w pics done on canvas by Next nextart.co.uk I think, £39.99 + £3.75 p+p for a 40 x 40 cm, they are great and they do other sizes, reasonable price I thought.

i remembered the name later on last night! :D

Thanks again for the recommendations, when I get a minute, I am going to suss it all out and will let you know How I do

I've pm'd you the supplier who i use. The ones that are posted in this thread are far too expensive IMO. The supplier i've given is just for professional photographers and there prices reflect this. What you do need to do though is make sure the image is colour matched and you download and apply there canvas profile in photoshop and to the image before you email it.

Hope it helps. The canvas will take upto 5 days for delivery
