Cassie, Whippet X Staffie, DOB Apr 08 – Godstone, Surrey
Homing Requirements: Cassie has been with us for 4 years. She is highly skilled and adorable but needs a responsible family who can guarantee her security outside on walks and within her garden. Cassie has prey drive and will break loose if she sees a cat or a running small furry. Cassie needs a waist band lead on walks, to be harnessed in a car and a very secure garden ideally 8' panel fencing or walls. Plus Secondary exit management within the house or garden gates. No cats or small furries. Cassie can be left and is non-destructive. She is good with people, older children and is happiest in a dog pack.
Her Story: Cassie was found stray in Dec 08 and was homed for 4 months but the couple returned her as Cassie got distressed in kennels when they went on holiday. Cassie has been fostered with multi dog packs for periods. Cassie is spayed, vax'd and chipped. Currently back in kennels in Godstone, Surrey.
Advert: Cassie meets people with love and reverence, dogs the same. Cassie is our rescue's Mascot and is often out there raising funds for us and is so loved by so many. STAR of our rescue but for her sake we would much rather she be enjoying her life in her forever family. Cassie needs a responsible family where there is no chance of her getting out of the front door or her jumping out from a car. Children adore her, see their smiles. Her fame travels as she has some magic about her - as a therapy dog she would put people at their ease and give them a sense of positivity and enthusiasm. She is a "happy to see you, lets have fun" dog. She loves dogs of all sizes and lives happily in a pack.
Cassie is a Whippet x Staffie, well proportioned and in good health. She is lavender brindle in colour with one long white sock ... just like she came out in a hurry and forgot the other one! Cassie has a gentle personality and your extended family will delight in meeting her. Cassie is intelligent and enjoys training, she'll soon be offering you her paw and doing your washing up! Cassie would love an active life but also enjoys mooching around her home on the sofa. At least 6 ft panel fencing and she ceases to be concerned. Cassie is ready to devote herself to a kind owner who will truly admire her many, many gifts. Cassie out-shines all other contestants!
Please note this dog is currently in boarding kennels and is also available for foster until a permanent home is found.
