:( sad news linda jones lost her well known champion red robin(william) on monday aged 15.

He was truly a dog in a million siring 3 champions CRUFTS BOB BLUESTREAK BUBBLY BLONDE, CH MAIDENBOWER KITTIWAKE and CH COPPERHAWK COUNTRY CRACKER aswell as numerous cc and res cc winners,he also appears in a lot of working pedigrees siring dual purpose whippets, our symphathy to linda at this difficult time.

He has clearly left his mark on the breed and will continue to do so through his children and grandchildren and future generations.

I am so sorry to hear this. Please pass on my condolences to Linda. RIP/ :(

I am so very sorry to hear that Red Robin has died he was one of my very favourite dogs.

However, he will live on through his offspring and I'm lucky enough to have a beautiful Red Robin daughter, Ch. Bluestreak Bubbly Blonde.

Please pass on my condolences to Linda if she isn't a member of K.9

That is sad news, he's my lovely Lily's dad (and Lettie's grandad on both sides ), and was such a fantastic boy. My heart goes out to Linda - he will be much missed.

Rest in Peace William

Ahhhh, dear William, RIP old boy.

I am very proud to have a Red Robin son, in the shape of my Tinstone Silver Furze at Dewerstone (Archie, pictured below)

Oh no :(

I have 2 William children, my Alfie (Perfect Pluto), and Mabel (Welstar as you Like it at Monelli) and he is behind so many of the Whippets I admire.

He was a beautiful dog with a lovely nature and I am sure Linda must be devastated :(

It really is the end of an era.

R.I.P. Wills, you will certainly never be forgotten.

So very sad to hear this. :( I know how much Linda loved the gorgeous William and how proud she was of him and his many beautiful offspring. He is my Zephyr's dad, and you can nearly always tell a Red Robin son or daughter by their lovely faces and exuberant nature!

RIP William

Here is a picture of him from the Whippet Archives
