You modest thing June, you forgot to mention the dogs that became Veteran Crowns.

Dogs made up to Veteram Crowns were - Whiphaven Dangermouse, Minnie Mouse, Guye's Gwithian and Tusken Raider.

Well done them

Thanks Judy - I didn't like to look like I was bragging!

 Mouse does look fantastic in her velvet jacket though

We also would like to thank W.C.R.A,for a great meeting,we didn't have anything racing ourselves, but there were several of our pups racing.

Well done ELVIRE,now there is a lady who enjoys a win (w00t) x.Well done FULLER SPIRIT,another for our Maggie  (brown eyed girl).Well done STAR OF WONDER Andy and Sarah, and all the winners.

On a sadder note Joyce Keeble had to make an early exit ,FIRECREST injured herself coming out of the trap. Her vet checked her over and is hopeful that it is tissue injury and not spinal, she was still able to stand on her back legs,so retirement for this fantastic little girl and we wish her a speedy recovery.

Last but by no means least, thanks Shiela, you sure know how to throw a party, and us Whippet people know how to enjoy one,

Congrats to all the new champions :)

And a question .... ? Did new VC's always used to get a velvet jacket? If so I can't find Hattie's anywhere!

And another one .... I hope they didn't make those tiny whippets in the n/e 2lb group run the full distance!! :D :- " (w00t)

No the Velvet Jackets for the VC winners as well as the Champions is a recent thing. I think its a great idea and well done to the WCRA committee for bringing them in.

You can get a Velvet Jacket made retrospectively for past Champs and VC winners though Ian. They are £18.50 from the WCRA and you can have your dogs name and title embroidered on it. They look really great too.
