I don't normally give too much credence to rumour but I have heard that someone turned up, not on the programme and was allowed to race.

As I rang up 2 weeks ago to be told the entry was closed, the draw done, and therefore I was too late, I'd be very upset if this was true.

But it's probably just an ill-founded rumour, right? :blink:

 

Nope, pretty sure that is just a rumour, Ian :wacko: There wasn't any dogs added on to the programme on the day! :thumbsup:

They normally always have the closing date three weeks before. So you'll just have to put it in your diary to remind yourself for the next one :lol:

Glad about that too as missed the closing date by 2 days ....... Didn't know it was now 3 weeks before the champs when the entries close ..... Used to be two and as I don't bother getting Whippet news etc ....... oh well next time hey
