Chatsworth Country Fair 29-31 August 08

We are going on the Saturday as my 2 lurchers are competing in the agility show there. It's only a small show & geared up for the audience with a commentary on each dog.

we've been every year for about the last 5 years, it's a really good show & we end up -_- by the end of the day, all that walking up & down & around all the stalls & attractions.

So if you are there on the Sat & happen to be around the agility area look out for a grey & white noisy lurcher & I'll be on the other end of the lead. :D

I went last year and enjoyed it. It was great seeing the terrier racing and the lurcher long jump, and doggie agility. I didn't see many whippets I must admit, because there are no pedigree dog shows there, just lurcher and terrier events and general agility and gun dog events.

The red arrows flying over at the end of the day is well worth waiting for. It's really scenic around Chatsworth as well, so a beautiful show to attend, with a real feel good factor on a sunny day.

Having said that, I'm not sure if I'll go this year on not. If I do, I'll keep an eye out for you :D

Hey guys, thanks! I will keep an eye open for you both, not sure which day we are going yet..... at a wedding on the Friday night, so I am guessing Sunday?

We usually go, its expensive but if you get there early and stay all day (take a picnic, you can go out and back in to collect it from your car  ) you get your moneys worth :D

Would be nice to see some whippets to drool over there

I used to go to chatsworth every year but the last time i went it was just like a sunday market, the dog racing showing was poorly organised.

I thought it was a rip off, The midland gamefair is cheaper!!!
