the national lurcher & racing club will be running the lurcher events at Chatsworth Country Fair, Chatsworth House, Derbyshire on Friday, Sat. & Sun 4th 5th and 6th September 2009.
Friday morning 10am Superdog event is for on site competitors but anyone with a Lurcher is welcome to join in and compete.
Saturdays events will be simulated coursing ( 1st dogs in slips at 9a.m.), O'23 & U'23 straight racing, hurdle racing, O'23 & U'23 long jump and showing. . All running events will be held in the morning . Showing will start with the Junior Handler Championship at 1pm followed by the Lurcher open showing.
Sundays events will be simulated coursing ( 1st dogs in slips at 9a.m.), O'23 & U'23 straight racing and hurdle racing. Showing on sunday will start at 12 noon. The NLl.&RC. Championship will take place on Sunday at 4pm. All qualified entrants must book in between 2.30pm and 3.30pm in the entry tent.
Please use the Baslow entrance ( Golden Gates) to access the Lurcher car park.
Please note:- there is no public camping in the Lurcher area at Chatsworth, camping is by invitation only.
