This weekend is the beginning of the end of the season for me, as usual when this time comes around i find im physically drained so part of me welcomes Sept/Oct but that competitive side wants more !
I leave for Chatsworth on Friday evening..Belfast-Birkenhead then a lovely drive across the Peak District, i enjoyed this Fair last year though i dont like the race track one bit, this year Chinas going to have a go at the Coursing there one day and Straights the following. Colts recovering well from re-tearing his toe down South but he wont be running this weekend. Im hoping hel get a run at MGF or Pride of the Peaks...not bothered though as hes finished this season off brilliantly.
We stay at Greenhills Campsite which i have to say is the best Campsite ive stayed at over there..great pub onsite which last year was brilliant crack...(poor LadyP..... :lol: )
A fortnight later its the Midland Gamefair which sees around 15 of us Ulster folk making the crossing.
Ive been told the track isnt that smallish one from last year..its back to a long range one again ! As soon as the racings finished and weve had a walk around we`re off to Hartington Wakes..coursing at 5pm then a Disco in the Marquee.... 8)
Another fortnight after that its my bigee ! The Lurcherworld Racing Finals at Knutsford. Last year as most people know i made the biggest bollox possible with China, i forgot to remove a borrowed greyhound walking-out coat ! The rest is history :b That wont happen again...unless some bird flashes her boobs at me when im on the line

The following day its Peterborough ! Meet up with my sis and her family. Havent been here since i had Storm so itll be refreshing to go again...although its the same bloody gubs as usual ..happy ones...frowny ones..sarchastic ones..and one big grumpy one :lol:
