Exlax doesn't contain proper chocolate, its just flavoured.
Its a laxative and not a particually strong one for most adults.
The dog might have a case of runny bum for a short while I would have thought, unless it doesn't has a strong tummy.
Just make sure there is plenty of water down if it starts with the runs and don't feed for 24 hours.
If the runs lasts for more than a day, go see a vet.

Check what the dose is and compare it the weight of your dog. Assure access to garden or cover floor with newspaper and hope for the best :luck: :luck: :luck:
