Anyone else had a Christmas disaster ?

OH and I went to the beach first thing to give the girls a run . It is still snowy here and we got stuck in the snow , almost rolled the car over and finally had to abandon the car in a field of sheep ! This was after our walk on the beach so then we had to walk approx 5 miles home .

Finally got home and decided to go for a bath fell getting in the bath and hurt my hip .

At around midday finally got around to opening presents cut my finger , blood everywhere !

The girls got their presents but were too tired to play with them and have been fast asleep most of the day .

Car is still lying in a field of sheep !

Hope that's all the disasters for today ho , ho ho :sweating:

oh no, what a day you have had. Fingers crossed that things will only get better from now on

I have had no heat since monday as the heating pipes are still frozen.......then this afternoon I found the contents of my freezer have mysteriously defrosted  ! Inside the freezer feels warmer than the kitchen.

Your problems sound much worse than mine .

Hope you have some heat today :luck:

Hi Alison

What a wonderful Christmas for you in your new home :x

I have heard of a good Christmas day walk but yours was exceptional (w00t)

Things can only get better (when will you get your car back ? :luck: )

Very mild here on Christmas day and lots of pipes defrosting only to burst. My heart goes out to all those poor folks.

We had our flooded utility room and burst pipes in the WC 10 days ago.

I have denuded B&Q of lagging materials so hopefully I will get through the cold spell with no further disasters. :luck:

My only disaster was over cooking the sirloin yesterday. I should have stuck to turkey

Not alone with my problems then Eve (w00t)

Burst pipes would be all I would need :sweating:

OH went out today and managed to get car out of field got it half way up the road and it is currently stuck in a passing place

Oh well some progress has been made . Maybe another few hundred yards tomorrow :teehee:

Cook the turkey for New year maybe
