It was a bright and breezy day at the track in Gloucester for our meeting this week. In addition to our regular members, we had quite a few visitors from further a field.

Today we ran 150 yards at ½ a yard per lb for the “Royal Charlie” trophies (light and middleweights) and the heavyweights ran for the “Only Just” trophy.

Despite it being Mother’s Day, many of us were lucky enough to find a table in the pub after racing for a drink and a catch-up.

9.94 is a fabulous time, perhaps this is Belle's year?

No he hasn't sorted them all yet, he will do soon!

Thanks to everyone on a warm welcome on our first visit to Glos on Sunday, despite the hangover we all had a really good day

This really was a great exprience for both us and the dogs and we all gained from this visit, coming away much (well a bit) wiser than when we arrived.

Thank you Jo for the loan of Archie in Paddys first experience of running against another dog. We were really pleased with how he did. Also thanks to the other folk that allowed Paddy to run against their dogs too, sorry can't remember names but much appreciated.

Poppy is also gaining confidence in every visit to the track and is becoming very attatced to the lure............ and to Jennys hand  . She's recovering well :D

It was good to see Mark and Lesley again and Jenny enjoyed helping you out with your girls and the trapping, maybe I can be of more use next time when im 100% beer free  . Holly also enjoyed getting lucky in the raffle twice !!

Well done to all the winners, see you again

Neil Jenny and Holly

Neil...................we just don't know what you see in the drink :- " .

Glad you enjoyed Glos , see you all soon
